ozne uyumunu dikkate alarak incelemektir.
Akıldan cıkarılmamalıdır ki;
• Akıldan cıkarılmamalıdır ki; sozu edilen cumleler arası paralelliğin birbirini takip eden her
iki cumlede aranması sarttır. Cunku uygun olmayan ara cumleler cok bariz bir sekilde
gorulecektir.
cunku belki ucuncu cumle kendinden sonraki dorduncu cumleyle uygundur.

• I have a cat whose name is Rosa. (II) My neighbours love her very much. (III) My
students love her, too. (IV) But they sometimes complain about the fact that she is noisy.
(V) So I mostly take her with me whenever I leave home for long periods.
A) I B) II C) III D) IV E) V
Cevap:C
Paragrafımızdaki I.cumlemiz, II.cumleyle kalın ve altı cizili harflerle dikkat cekildiği gibi
ozne uyumu ve anlam butunluğu acısından paraleldir. Aynı paralelliği IV. ve V.cumlelerde
de gormekteyiz. Dolayısıyla doğru cevap C’dir. Burada akla soyle bir soru gelebilir:
Acaba III.cumledeki “My students” oznesi IV.cumledeki “they” oznesine bakmıyor mu?
Đlk bakısta o sekilde dusunulebilir ama IV. ve V.cumleler arasındaki anlam uyumu bize;
IV.cumledeki “they” oznesinin, III.cumledeki “My students” oznesine değl II.cumledeki
“My neighbours” a baktığını gosteriyor.
dikkat etmemiz gereken iki ana strateji uzerinde duralı.
A) OZNE UYUMU
denebilir.
Bazı orneklerle cumleler arasındaki ozne uyumlarına dikkat edelim;
The members did not believe that Tom could handle the workload. So they objected
to Henry’s admission to graduate school.
Michael believes that politicians are corrupt. Therefore he dislikes them.
While Tina was on vacation, she visited her friend everyday.
Alex and Jennifer stole a pencil from my daughter. Their father told them to return

They admire him.

permitted during the Middle Ages. (IV) But Galileo and Newton proved
that all the movements of the planets proceed according to the laws
of physics. (V) And that once they are set in motion, they will continue
indefinitely.
A) I B) II C) III D) IV E) V
Cevap: C
Uygun ozneler;
1.cumle: it → 2. cumle: It
4.cumle: movements of the planets → 5.cumle: they
Uygun olmayan ozne;
